The Award theme is "Design for Architecture" with total prize money of US$100,000
Aoyama Design Forum (ADF), a non-profit organization, opened applications for the ADF Design Award 2023 on Monday, August 15, 2022.The award theme for 2023 was "Architectural Design". There will be a Grand Prize of US$20,000, an Award of Excellence in each category of US$10,000, and an Award of Encouragement in each category of US$1,000, for a total prize fund of US$100,000. The Grand Prize went to Kazuhiko Mashiko & Mikami Architects / Oshida Architects (Japan). Congratulations to each of the winners.
ADF Design Award 2023 overview
The design award themes were: beauty on the surface of the design, originality and innovation in the process leading to the adoption of the design, the building's benefit to humans, consideration for environmental impact, and architectural works challenging to break new ground in the world of architectural design.
