In 2003, the Hong Kong Design Centre (HKDC) launched the DFA Awards to underpin the role of designers in society and to celebrate design leadership and exemplary designs and projects with commercial success or impact in Asia, as well as to recognise the rising force of emerging designers in Hong Kong. There were a total of 176 winners from the DFA Design for Asia Awards and 16 winners receiving the DFA Hong Kong Young Design Talent Award. ADF proudly supported the DFA Awards 2016 as a media partner.
