Dezeen Awards 2020 run a public vote encouraging all their readers to vote for their favorite projects. New this year, the public vote allowed all the readers to vote for projects and studios shortlisted in the architecture, interiors and design categories, as well as architects and designers in line for the studio of the year awards. 

The shortlists contain 187 projects and 33 studios, which had been selected by the 75 judges from longlists of entries. Dezeen Awards 2020 received more than 4,300 entries in total, making it one of the most popular and prestigious architecture and design awards programmes in the world. The public vote allowed readers to choose one entry per category until voting closes on October 12th, 2020. NPO Aoyama Design Forum (ADF) supported Dezeen Awards 2020 as a media partner
