The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, which was unanimously adopted by member countries at the UN Summit in September 2015, is now in its sixth year of being proposed by the United Nations, following the proposal of ESG by the UN in 2006. In the past few years, corporate efforts to address the SDGs have steadily penetrated the Japanese market and have become an indispensable theme for management. Against this backdrop, companies' variety of SDG initiatives is expanding, taking advantage of each company's characteristics.
On the other hand, there are individual differences in SDGs' level of knowledge among corporate employees. In light of this situation, the NPO Aoyama Design Forum (ADF), in collaboration with Aoyama Gakuin Human Innovation Consulting, held a two-part "SDGs Basic Seminar" to provide participants with basic knowledge of the SDGs. In response to the requests from those who viewed the seminar to introduce specific examples of SDGs, introduce them to their work, and spread them within the company, ADF will hold more practical SDGs workshops on Tuesday, March 24, 2021, and in April.
The online seminar's content is ideal for those who are currently promoting the SDGs and those who wish to acquire practical knowledge about the SDGs.
